UB!

Yum Yum!

Less than 24 hours in UB and so far I have eaten:
Hamburger
French Fries
Pepperoni and Spinach Pizza
Vanilla Milk Shake
2 Iced Mochas
2 Long Island Iced Teas
3 Pancakes
2 strips of bacon
1 piece of jelly bread
yum yum

I took a shower this morning! It was amazing! It was my firt real shower since October 24th ish! It felt so good!

Last night we went to a bar called Twilight. Edward Cullen was not there :( but Long Island Iced Tea was!

I am currently at Nayra's. I just ate pancakes and now I am using the free wireless internet. I love it!

The guest house I am staying in is really nice. I am staying in a room with 8 beds, but only 5 people are there so far. I am sure it will fill up as more PCVs come into town. I am on the bottom bunk and am actually really enjoying it. It is my first time staying in a hostel and it is exactly as I imagined it. And did I mention the shower!

We watched Romeo and Juliet last night. That is such a good movie!

Hopefully, Karaoke and Indian food tonight for Amber's birthday. Tomorrow to PC office for student load BS and other various business and then I need to make something for the big Thanksgiving meal! Woohoo!

Love to all! Happy Thanksgiving! love, C

The pictures are of PCVs reuniting at Nayra's pizza and cafe! So much fun! love, C

Oh C. You make me appreciate my daily ablutions.
And the readily available Indian food.
When I visit, I'm going to bring so much good food, it'll be like Christmas (unless it gets confiscated when I try to climb The Wall)

I lived in a glorified shipping container for about 2.5 months in Korea while my apartment was being renovated. I had no hot water, and only a trickle of water pressure, and it was in a detached, outhouse-type building. The first shower I had in my new apartment was amazing. I definitely know what you mean!

Yep, I had a cold trickle as a shower the whole time I was in Cuba, and no shower at all on my little trek-on-foot to Lesotho. Not to mention months of solar shower in Durango. So I do know how luscious that feels. Soak it up baaby!
I'm happy to be home, catching up on housework. My mini-vacation was restful. I'll be happy to get back to work.
It was great talking with you on the phone! I am always so amazed by how close you sound. I'm putting the finishing touches on your box today, and will mail it tomorrow. I'm a little behind, so xmas will last at least a week! I think others are more punctual than I... What can I say, I do my best. Suddenly it is December and I am overwhelmed!
Travel well back to Arvaikheer, and take all those fabulous memories with you.
I love you so.

Hey! I'm back in North America and I wish you were too! I'm also quite jealous of the comments on your blog. You're getting at least 4 or 5 on each post. I only ever got that when i saw gorilla smugglers or was in a bus crash. As usual, you have bested me, Monahan!

Enjoy the big city and know that we miss you!
