comments

Holy snap! I love comments! Please everyone who reads make a comment even if it is just your name and saying you are here. It is so nice to have a support system back home. Lynn, i got you comments and love and miss you and your fab fam! Grandparents, a tumpen is a shallow-sih round plastic basin used by me for bathing, washing clothes, and for looking at something colorful. (mine is neon pink!) Things are better and I am happy and busy. I have a lot of homework which is good. I want to learn everything I can while i have the resources. I have to give a 20 minute presentation on the signs and symptoms and treatment of child sexual abuse in 2 weeks. Holy way out of my league batman! So if anyone, like perhaps a former DSS child protection officer could tell me signs and symptoms and treatment of child sexual abuse, that would be great. (In outline form preferbably) Just remember how much i love and miss you dad! The email i can access the easiest here is my caitlinrose.monahan@gmail.com fyi. I am kind of spurging on internet this week dont count on these constant updates, kids! wouldn't want you all to get spoiled! 'cause i'm sure not! love you all! love, C

Well Crikey. I waited until 1113 to post a comment, thinking I would not be first. Too bad. I cannot wait anymore. I want to take advantage of this communication spree while I can. 6 commets yesterday. How about that? You must be pop-u-lar.
Madeline got a new phone. She is happy as a bug. Claire is turning brown as a bug from going to the pool every other day. It appears that we have an over abundence of covers and pillage in all of our beds now.
I pictured your basin as stainless steel. Now I have to rethink it pink.
You are the prettiest of all.

love, ma

The old crow cried CAW CAW CAW- Now a red card you must draw!!!!
Don't know if you ever played Uncle Wiggly as a child....Anyway, what I do know is that THIS old crow misses you and thinks of you alot. I LOVE reading your blog, and my thoughts and prayers are with you cutie pie. :) I can't wait until I see you in my office door so I can give you a treat and a hug. You'll find out it's the little things you miss. The sun rising over the Black Hills, the smell of Burger King getting a little over zealous with the "flame broiling", and the feel of walking into your Mom's front door. I love going to your Mom's house near Christmas time. The warmth and love that emits from that small home could be the answer to this country's energy problem-if we could just bottle it somehow. We'd be rich. We'd be on the French Riviera-with a couple of cabana boys at our beckoning.....oui oui? SQ

So are you going to an internet cafe to get online? Rapid-typing, pay-by-the-minute? Oh, I remember those! I was always getting distracted in Asia especially, by people wanting to touch my hair while I typed.
I hope you decide to get your masters in Denver so that you can go to Red Rocks with me. I went alone last night to movie night with South Park. Dumb, and terribly funny. I'm close to getting roommates! Hurrah! The lawn threatens to burn up in the new-found heat. Noooo! I'm going up to Ft. Collins on Friday to be with the 'rents. Okay! Get that lawn mowed! Charlie just sent me a notice, that the ranch is being re-sold. The pictures of the house are amazing. They made it look really sweet.
Pink basin! Luuv it! I've got a visual...
Stay light, Irish Princess!

Oh, man. I already feel spoiled with all the blogs. Pretty much going to be devastated when they are far and few between.
Awesome pinkness!
Saw the picture of your giant group on facebook. You still look stunning!
You remind me of the babe.

so, it seems that boredom likes to rear its ugly head much more often when you are not around. Perhaps I can find a way to make Mongolia equal United States so that you are still here. Probably not though...it's physics. Maybe if you visit UB I can pretend it is US. Are there any cool museums in UB with the Mongolian equivalent of the Terry Redlin museum? If there are... that's weird.

anyway, bon nuit, nous t'aimons, je voudrais jouer au ping-pong et le baby-foot mais je n'ai pas la Caitlin Magnifique jouer avec moi. J'ai triste. That is the most french I have said in a long time. Miss you tons!

Caitlin. It is so exciting to read your comments on Mongolia. I worked with Nurse Deirdre in ICU. You may remember my daughter, Cassie. Black girl with an attitude?
Please keep those blogs coming.
I do agree with you that we shower way to much in the U.S. And, carry our little water bottles with us wherever we go. Like were are instantly going to dehydrate and turn into dust,,, blow away in the wind.
Take care of yourself !

Hi. You don't know me, but Didre sent me you blog site. I happen to be a sexual assault nurse examiner for adults. I have access to information on child abuse and sexual assault. If you let me know specifically what you need I can help. My work email is ccarey@rcrh.org.

Dang, girl, you rock. And you know what?
I feel warm and fuzzy just thinking about how we're living on the same continent! Hong Kong's a world away--people generally shower everyday and don't bathe other adults, but it's still Asia.

People grow their fingernails really really long and use them to pick their noses. Not all people, but enough to notice.
